Day 2 Lake Nakuru I am now sleeping on the couch feeling better. This is Dads story so I will let him tell it. Sheridan was looking very very pale as she was standing in the restaurant then BLEH there goes her lunch. I grabbed a plate to catch it, and after the drama, handed the plate to a waiter, said “thanks mate” and left the room. So that’s my story for today, and I then sat by the pool.
Day 6 Serengeti If you were reading this diary properly you would have realised that wildebeests are dumb. Well here is the story, Zebras can see very well but cannot hear as well, that is the opposite for wildebeests so they stick together. So if it is a normal day drive down the road they all go in a line and run in front of the truck then if we move an inch they decide to go back. How stupid!
Day 16 Lake Malawi We woke up early to leave to go further down the lake. It only felt like a little while but it was a long way. When we got there, there was a sign that said “Do not swim before 6.30am and after 6.30pm as Crocodiles and Hippos will be awake. I felt really scared about that until a man told me that he’s never seen them before. We then set up our camp under a mango tree and near the sands edge. It was a beautiful spot, we then had dinner and went to bed.
